Dead Meme

Dead Meme is a 3D first-person shooter set in the near future, cyberpunk version of Earth, where internet memes have ‘leaked’ into the real world.

The players main gameplay loop is to kill Doge! The last elder meme still at large, since the great data leak of 2068! The main game story is to separate the internet from real life. Which due to the time setting of the game, is becoming a real problem. The memes that have leaked into the real world linger and fester in abandoned buildings but also populated buildings. Thus, having a fun meme leak into a party can be good but a destructive and chaotic meme in the middle of the white house? That’s a problem for a ‘Plumber’.

The main character the player will control is a “Plumber”, a highly specialized computer engineer armed to the teeth in weapons, jammers, and badassness to fix the leaks and capture the rogue meme.
